Draftfcb & SOCO Amsterdam launch AdWall at PICNIC

During PICNIC (24 – 26 September, Amsterdam), Draftfcb Amsterdam and SOCO Amsterdam will launch the ‘AdWall’. The AdWall is an impactful Multi-Touch display for communication and advertising. It will fulfill the promise of being a new immersive medium. During the event, the AdWall is demonstrated with a special PICNIC version: it allows you to intuitively navigate through a virtual map of the conference, made up entirely of user-generated multimedia content. It allows you to explore all the conference events through the eyes of those who attended. The PICNIC AdWall can be found in the central meeting point (Gashouder) during the entire event.
The AdWall allows brands and companies to communicate in a new playful way. It involves and connects consumers through an all-senses stimulating experience. The Multi-Touch interface offers an intuitive and dynamic user experience. The AdWall provides exciting applications, which stimulates the curiosity and engage consumers to interact in an immersive way with your content. It combines different Multi-Touch technologies to achieve the most effective interaction. The AdWall offers both air touch and precise touch interaction. The technology is force sensitive, and provides unprecedented resolution and scalability. Different technologies can be implemented such as RFID and Bluetooth. The internet connection makes it possible to connect and communicate with web content.
The AdWall is a collaboration between Draftfcb Amsterdam and SOCO Amsterdam. They combine their expertise to offer tailor made Multi-Touch solutions for a broad audience. The AdWall is the result of extensive research and development.
Multi-Touch
Multi-Touch interfaces differ from traditional touch screens by allowing the use of multiple fingers to interact with digital content. This ability to track multiple points of contact leads to a more intuitive, gesture-based way of interacting with the computer.
